This 1962 Martin D-18 plays flawlessly, with the rich, warm tone and powerful clarity you'd expect from this iconic vintage instrument with its seasoned spruce top and mahogany sides. As with any instrument in its seventh decade, this dreadnought has cosmetic wear around the sound hole and some belt scratches on the back. It had a crack at the lower bout and side repaired with a beautiful bit of craftsmanship in 2010 by the late Mike Lull at his Redmond, WA, shop. Mike also replaced the tuning machines, bridge and nut, worked the frets and re-glued the pick guard. The neck, frets and fretboard are perfect. (Original tuning machines, nut and bridge were retained and will be included.) Includes non-original worn-but-sturdy vintage hard shell case. This one-owner guitar is a player's dream and is all ready for its next 62 years.
