The only exception to that is the low absorbency. Because of the thermal plastic polyurethane coating, less product should be used on the applicator to avoid over saturation during the coating process. On your initial wetting of the applicator, you should use a normal amount of coating, but on subsequent re-wettings, you will likely need to use less product. As with any ceramic applicator, Adam’s recommends discarding all applicators and towels used during the application. When crystallization occurs on the applicator, it can result in scratching of paint during future use.
