The store lured in customers with their low prices and catchy slogans like "Phar-Mor power buying gives you Phar-Mor buying power". At its peak, Phar-Mor had over 300 stores across 34 states. However, due to the company's extremely low profit margins, as well as some other less savory factors, Phar-Mor left us too soon.
