The goal was to stay within the Bay Rum tradition but add our own spin on things and a page to the history.</p> <p>Atomic Pumpkin, though playful and fun is no different in this approach. We take Bay Rum serious, but if we can't dance now and again, it's not our revolution...<em>if you know what I mean?</em><span> </span>:)</p> <p>Our Atomic Pumpkin Bay Rum is steeped in classic pumpkin pie spices for up to 6 weeks before the batch is complete; Allspice, Ginger, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg...<em>minus the Clove!<span> </span></em>I felt rather than opt for a typical orange top note I'd Reach for Moro Blood Orange instead. <em></em></p> <p>The 'Moro' is the most colorful of the blood oranges, with a deep red flesh and a rind with a bright red<b> </b>blush. It is from this rind that the hydrosol used in our splash is derived. The aroma is much more intense and present than a standard or bitter orange hydrosol. Very distinct with almost berry type notes.</p> <p>I also chose to use Elemi Resin fastly becoming one of my favorite of the classic perfuming resinoids!</p> <p>Elemi is an ancient resin dating back to the time of the Pharaohs, both spicy &amp; peppery but contains even more pronounced woody-grassy facets. It really makes for a solid grounding element in what would typically be a spicy and flighty charge for your nose! Meaning, Elemi really reins in the typical hot heads of the blend.</p> <p><span class="ILfuVd yZ8quc"><b>Organic Pumpkin</b><span> </span>seed<span> </span><b>oil</b><span> </span>(PSO) is rich in vitamin E, zinc, omega 3- and 6- fatty acids as well as antioxidants.
