The way this works is simple.  First, we will ship you an new carbon fiber dashboard core to replace your stock wood or white dashboard core.  (We teach you how to unsnap it in our video below, its easy) Second, you will need to remove your OEM Dashboard and install the one we sent you. (See photos for clarification) GEN. 2:  Model 3 & Y made after April 2021.  Visually, generation 2 dashboards do not have removable end caps. (See photos for clarification) Gen. 3 : Model Y Vehicles built in Austin Texas and Berlin built in 2023+, have a newer dashboard that has several visual differences that we will provide via photos upon request. Option 1 (Gen. 1 Customers ONLY): Select this option if you have a Generation 1 Dashboard.  First, we will send you a rebuilt dashboard with a prepaid label that you can use when shipping back your OEM dashboard. Upon receiving the core back, we will inspect it and then refund your $250 deposit as long as it is undamaged and like new.  Option 2 (Gen. 2 Customers ONLY): Select this option if you have a Generation 2 Dashboard and want us to "Convert" your dashboard to a Generation 1.  With this option we will send you a FREE set of End Cap Replacements with the same finish.   First, we will send you a rebuilt dashboard with a prepaid label that you can use when shipping back your OEM dashboard. Upon receiving the core back, we will inspect  it and then refund your $250 deposit as long as it is undamaged and like new.  Option 3 (Gen. 2 Customers ONLY): Select this option if you have a Gen. 2 Dashboard. First, we will send you a rebuilt dashboard with a prepaid label that you can use when shipping back your OEM dashboard. For customers in the contiguous USA, we will provide you with a prepaid return label, international and Non-Contiguous U.S. customers have to ship their core back to us at their own expense.  Upon receiving the core back, we will inspect  it and then refund your $250 deposit as long as it is undamaged and like new.  Option 4 (Gen. 2 Customers ONLY): Select this option if you have a Gen. 2 Dashboard and you want us to "Rebuild" your OEM dashboard.  First you will ship your OEM Dashboard for us to rebuild.  The turnaround time is immediate once your dashboard arrives at our location, so you won't be without a dashboard for long. Excluding customers ordering internationally, we pay for the shipping costs and ship it back to you. (Select Free Expedited Handling) Option 5 (Gen. 3) Texas & Berlin Built Model Y's: Select this option if you have a Gen. 3 Dashboard and you want us to "Rebuild" your OEM dashboard.  First you will ship your OEM Dashboard for us to rebuild.  The turnaround time is immediate once your dashboard arrives at our location, so you won't be without a dashboard for long. Excluding customers ordering internationally, we only pay for the shipping cost back to you. (Select Free Expedited Handling) We have notice so far that these are only for Model Y Vehicles, however its best to check if your dashboard is Gen. 3 before purchasing. Option 6 (For ALL local customers): Select this option, If you are local to our World Headquarters at 23201 Antonio Parkway, Rancho Santa Margarita CA and would like to pickup your Dashboard Replacement locally.  We will rebuild your OEM dashboard regardless of what generation you have.  Once scheduled, Installation takes about 2-3 hours and labor is FREE. (Select Local Pick Up) How do I know which option to choose? It is entirely up to you.  Neither option will effect any TESLA warranties.  The easiest option would be to stick with your OEM dashboard generation.  However, some customers don't like what Elon gave them, and that is okay.  If you have Gen. 2 and prefer Gen. 1, just let us know in the notes before you place your order.  Generation 1 dashboards cannot convert to a Generation 2. Do any of the options effect any TESLA warranties?  No, they do not.  How does the pricing work? If you order Glossy you will only pay $499 with our 20% Off discount, plus the shipping charges and applicable taxes.  If you order Matte you will pay $525 plus shipping charges and applicable taxes.  We will provide you with a prepaid label in which you can use when shipping back your OEM dashboard.  We will then inspect your return and then refund you $250 in core charge deposit. What is a Core Charge Deposit? We require a refundable core charge deposit of $250.  We will refund this deposit once we receive the returned original undamaged dashboard core.  For customers in the contiguous USA, we will provide you with a prepaid return label. How does it work if I am a customer ordering Internationally?
