The ZZ Plant is characterized by its waxy green leaves above the surface of its potting mix, and its large potato-like rhizomes underneath. These rhizomes store water, making the ZZ a hardy, drought-tolerant houseplant that only needs water every few weeks.  Small plants arrive in a 5" wide nursery grow pot and measure between 9"-12" tall from the soil line to the top of the foliage Medium plants arrive in an 8" wide nursery grow pot and measure between 14-20" tall from the soil line to the top of the foliage Large plant arrive in a 10" wide nursery grow pot and measure between 16–24" tall from the soil line to the top of the foliage
