Profitec Pro 600 Overview A compelling dual boiler espresso machine with PID temperature control and explosive steaming capabilities, the Profitec Pro 600 with Quick Steam Plus delivers the power and precision you need for delicious espresso and milk beverages. Featuring an avant garde design with outward flared steam and hot water wands cutout panel inserts, this version of the Pro 600 features spring-loaded joystick knobs that earn it the moniker of Quick Steam Plus. Features and Performance Incorporating feedback that we provided for the Pro 700 and ECM Synchronika, the Pro 600 has the same incredible steam pressure thanks to the updated PID and safety valve. This means you can expect the same, incredible 2 Bar pressure of steam power. Unique to this version of the Pro 600, the joystick steam and hot water knobs can be throttled for quick and controlled bursts of steam or locked in place for continuous full power frothing. Both boilers are independently controlled by the PID, insulated, and made from stainless steel. The brew boiler is the same 0.75 liter capacity as the Pro 700 while the steam boiler has a 1 liter capacity. The Pro 600's Fast Heat Up is a unique heating cycle that overheats the boiler so that it reaches brew temperatures even faster. After a cooling flush, the super-hot water brings the group head and portafilter to temperature which helps to ensure optimal temperature stability.  Just like the Profitec Pro 700 and ECM Synchronika, the Pro 600 is designed to make any kind of maintenance easy to do at home. Lastly, the Pro 600 has a vibration pump and uses a water reservoir only. Why You Should Get It From the outside, the housing is constructed of polished stainless steel, and the side cutouts reveal a modern matte black panel. These panels in combination with the distinctively shaped steam and hot water arms make for a stand out addition to any counter top. Each of the Pro 600’s boilers are temperature regulated by the front facing PID controller, which doubles as a shot timer when a shot is being pulled. For added functionality, the steam boiler can be switched off for use as a single boiler machine. All of this, combined with the upgraded PID controller make the Pro 600 an incredible dual boiler espresso machine option.Dual-Boiler: The independent, insulated stainless-steel boilers provide stable temperatures and allow you to brew and steam at the same time. This is invaluable for everyone who likes making specialty drinks or for entertaining guests. PID Controller: Control boiler temperature for searching out those elusive coffee flavors. The integrated shot timer compliments this by giving you a live readout of how long you’ve been pulling your shot. E61 Brew Group: The E61 grouphead is constantly heated with water from the thermosyphon system for temperature stability. It also features a pre-infusion cylinder to aid in the extraction process. Fast Heat Up: The Pro 600 features Profitec's Fast Heat Up programming, a unique heating cycle. When powering on, if the temperature in the boiler is 104° F or lower, the boiler will begin heating to 266°F and the PID will display "UP." A "FLU" message will display when it's time to flush. On E61 machines like the Pro 600, the flush takes roughly 20 seconds and will have the boiler, group, and portafilter at brew ready temperature in 11 minutes.
