Pulsing Xenia is a sturdy stalk covered in feathery polyps that open and close on their own in a pulsing manner. Its colors vary from lavender to cream. This movement makes it one of the most popular coral in the hobby. Pulsing Xenia is very easy to care for and incredibly fast growing. You will want to keep an eye on it so that it does not overtake your reef tank. It is one of the best corals for a beginner reefer to start with.
