If you have hard, compacted clay soil, Air-8 liquid lawn aeration is an excellent alternative to the butt-kicking you get from mechanical aeration.One thing we know: 95% of homeowners cannot or will not rent a mechanical aeration machine. It's quite the hassle even to go and get it, especially if you don't have a truck to get it home in. On top of that, it's quite the workout. Since so many people are not able to mechanically aerate, liquid lawn aeration is your next best choice.Now, we do still recommend mechanical aeration as a way to make a good seedbed if you are doing an over seeding.
