Our stage 1 axles are a perfect fix for cars with a broken axle or one shooting grease under your hood. They are an aftermarket axle that we have tested to be a reliable replacement axle for people upgrading to HD or replacing a worn unit. Rated for street cars up to 300 HP. All 97+ 3800 cars use the same driver side axle, however the passenger side axle can be different. Supercharged cars use a Heavy Duty “HD” passenger side axle and the non supercharged cars use a non HD axle. You can convert a non-HD car to a HD car by simply installing the supercharged differential, diff cover, and the passenger side axle which we offer, it is called the 4t65e HD upgrade kit. So someone with a non supercharged car that wants an OEM replacement axle would have to order a non-HD axle. Axle nut included.  One year warranty.
