I shopped and shopped, and decided on this one after watching the Horse Saddle Shop video. Made by them! Dark chocolate color! I didnt want an orange-y saddle. Suede seat, with memory foam! Sounded great. Priced very affordable, too. The wide tree fits my Morgan. This saddle is just beautiful! And I can lift it up, place it on my 14.3 1/2 hand horse with no difficulty, and carry it without feeling like I am lugging it. I have arena ridden so far, waiting on weather to go on my next trail ride, but I feel very comfy in the seat. The higher cantle keeps me snug, but no way am I crammed in. I have close contact thru the fenders. The stirrups have beautiful stitching, too! And the dees in the front, probably placed for horn bags, just happen to be the right height for my breast collar, so I dont need a wither strap to place the collar to the correct lay across the shoulder.
