Lovely Arts and Crafts oval copper galleried tray. Made by J and F Pool, Hayle, Cornwall. Their products were hand finished and made to copy the Newlyn style. They are usually unmarked ( just Hand Made on reverse). Their production of copperwares dwindled rapidly during and after the 1914-18 war so that they could concentrate on other products. This is a genuine antique and such a beautiful item. Ideal as a drinks tray. Great display item. The tray has hand beaten repousse centre surround by an etched design of swags and hearts. The reverse is heavily tarnished ( please see photos) but the front cleans up well. Please study the photographs for full details of condition. Measurements 15inches x 10inches
