Please note that if you fly our G SPEC cotton American flag outdoors, the color and fabric will wear faster than a modern nylon flag.  Our G-SPEC flags feature fully sewn stripes and embroidered stars in the canton for a traditional and honorable display. The G-SPEC US flag was produced due to an executive order issued in 1958 that dictated the fly-to-hoist (length to width) ratio of 1:1.9. The order also included instructions regarding the diameter of the stars in the canton and the width of the stripes. The order only applies to flags displayed by the United States federal government.
