Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® is a versatile mix that thrives in sunny or shady areas and aggressively spreads to repair bare and thin spots. In addition, each seed is wrapped in a unique WaterSmart® Coating to absorb 2X more water and keep seed moist 2X longer than uncoated seed. Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® is designed for full sun and dense shade, and has a fine bladed texture with medium to high drought resistance. It can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing lawn. For best results, apply in the spring or fall when air temperatures are consistently between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.
