The XF80 has a one-piece quarter package boot and is crafted out of composite fiberglass material. The 7mm black felt tongue with a molded foam core wraps around your foot perfectly for superior on-ice fit. It also includes lace bite protection for optimal comfort. Inside the boot is CCMs HD microfiber liner and the Ortholite footbed. An upgrade in the XF80 skate is the tendon guard. CCM uses Flex Tendon 3.0; the same technology used in the top end XF Pro, XF and XF90 skates. It is designed to give you a better range of motion and greater extension on skating strides for increased speed. To give this skate a custom feel, CCM uses multi-density memory foam ankle padding and an HD microfiber liner.
