"I consider that my roots are those that relate me most directly, not only with this one but with each of the designs that I make and that are related to my culture and my country. Since I was a child, I have heard and read all kinds of stories that talk about the greatness of our ancestors. I have experienced the beauty and richness of our land through our traditions. Each of these experiences have been the most powerful influence on my designs and they are the same ones that force me to create with passion and respect in which I recognize myself as Mexican."
