This coffee hails from their family farm, Mirasol, in the Nasa Indigenous Reserve in central Colombia. For the past 25 years, Carmenza has led her family toward producing high-quality specialty coffees with minimal environmental impact. Six years ago, she helped her family obtain organic certification for the farm, setting a high standard for others in her community. Mirasol is a balanced coffee, with sweet, rich notes of chocolate, a citric orange-like acidity, and subtle notes of baking spices to round out the cup.
