BluBlocker Sugerman Sunglasses are Crafted in Chicago, where BluBlocker was born in 1986. Sugerman is named after our founder, Joe Sugarman, and inspired by the bold BluBlocker shape Joe made world famous in the 1980s and 1990s.  This modern interpretation is made with the highest quality luxury acetate and was crafted in Chicago.  BluBlocker also partnered with Zeiss lenses, which were made in Italy and the steel hinges, which are gold plated were made in Germany.  This style features our original BluBlocker logo on the temple in a gold plated finish. Like all of our sunglasses, the Zeiss lens blocks 100% of UV light and is our highest quality lens to date.   This pair is crafted in black acetate with gold plated steel hinges and hardware.
