It has LED's in the top and bottom of the tray with built in red light therapy and may reduce sensitivity.  The kits includes 30 treatments of professional strength whitening gel.  Ingredients:  Carbamide peroxide, Glycerol, Propylene Glycol, Deionized water, Carbomer, Carboxymethyl, Poly vinylpyrrolidone, Sodium Hydroxide, Menthol. HOW TO USE: Use the blue light for 15 mins and then the red/blue light for 10 mins. Total session is 25 minutes. After the blue light is done tap the device twice to turn on the red/blue light. Light starts flashing when needs to be charged. Do this 3-5 days in a row for maximum results then continue to use once a week or once every two weeks to maintain depending on how much coffee, soda, or tea you drink.  CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS: Charge your device overnight. Light flashes when charging and light stays on after fully charged. The light can be used for (1-2) 25 minute treatments before having to charge.
