Recognizing the demand, we decided to bring it to life. Now, we're thrilled to include this unique scent in our collection! Regrettably, there is no true essential oil that captures the scent of sourdough or baked bread without added fragrance. Recreating scents that don't naturally exist as essential oils is challenging, yet we often receive such requests. Using only plant-based oils, our candles are crafted for those with fragrance sensitivities, and who want the comfort of complete ingredient transparency. Once we felt like we had the sourdough scent mastered as close as possible, we wanted to send a sample to a true sourdough expert. We reached out to Courtney Moody of @actsofsourdough who put our scent to the test. Initially skeptical of candles because her child has asthma, Courtney was hesitant to introduce a candle into her home.
