Trip 2 | Day 2:It's my second trip since getting this travel journal, and I'm taking some time to get reacquainted with the marine life. The morning sun filtered through the water, casting golden rays across the coral reef. As I swam, I couldn't help but marvel at the underwater world around me. Fish darted to and fro in vibrant schools, a synchronized dance only they knew how to perform. If I get lucky, I'll get some cool shots of their shimmering scales to use as a painting reference!
Day 7: Today, I ventured deeper than usual into the heart of the reef. Here, the colors were more vivid, and life was more abundant. I'm definetaly going to do a color study when I get back to the studio! Note to self: use seaweed green & deep jellyfish purple together.
Trip 3 | Day 2:I passed by some dolphins as I took my evening stroll. I tried to click back at them, but no communication was made :(
Day 3: I can't believe I'm planning another vacation while I sit on my beach chair with my toes in the sand, but this is a reminder to get more sunscreen and to remember my camera bag next time!
Day 5: My new favorite cafe in town just released starfish cookies with good intentions inside when you bite into them...I'm obsessed! *Put this on the must-visit list for next year!
Day 6: Good thing of the day - I got to see sea turtles for the first time! They were just as amazing as my brain imagined. (I named my guy Uncle Urtle, of course.) Bad thing of the day - Last day at the beach, but vacation was restful & a success!
