This net is made with a polymer commonly used in bulletproof vests. We extruded the individual fibers and braided them into twine. Lastly, we dipped the twine in a black carbon-based dye, adding color stability. For quality assurance, we conducted side-by-side comparisons of the HDPE net and nylon. We found that these enhancements significantly extend the outdoor life of KVX200™ HDPE netting. KVX200™ HDPE remains intact and dark black while nylon slowly breaks down and fades to brown.
Square hung knotted nets typically hang straighter, the edges will be neat, and the border will naturally follow the edge of the netting.
The included net backdrop is 5' wide x 7' tall, and is designed to take the repeated impact from pitching machines which results in extending the life of your batting cage net. It provides reinforcement right where you need it most, above the plate (foul tip area), and behind the plate.
