Its die-forged <strong>O1 carbon steel</strong> blade (59–61 HRC) offers superior edge retention, making it the perfect material for a premium straight razor.</p> <p>Abalone, also called white gold, sea snails, or sea ears, are mollusks found along the coasts of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Mexico, and South Africa. Once so valuable they caused gang wars, they are now raised in water farms. Their shimmering shells have long been used for decoration, jewelry, and fine craftsmanship. Using advanced production methods, a wafer-thin abalone layer is applied to a carrier and encased in transparent acrylic, creating a durable, colorful handle with a three-dimensional look.</p> <p>The <strong>6/8" blade</strong> features an extremely hollow grind with serrations on both sides and a <strong>French point</strong> that balances the advantages of round and square styles. The French point allows you to <strong>skillfully trim contours</strong> and achieve precise grooming, even without advanced experience.</p> <p>The blade also carries a laser engraving inspired by historic Boker patterns from the early 20th century.
