The Good: Tinted and Dyed Roses are perfect for achieving a very specific color palette! These are the only roses with no color variance issues. They are also hardy and long-lasting! The Bad: The dye used on these roses can transfer to skin or fabric. While not harmful, this can be annoying. Wear gloves while handling these roses, and be sure to wrap the ends of the stems if using in a bouquet. Roses come closed and need to 'bloom', therefore they need a lot of elbow room, so no crowding! If tight, set them outside in warm weather for a few hours or use a hairdryer (heat OFF, cool setting only) to push the petals open. One other trick is to turn a rose upside down and spin the stem in your hand, this will force the bloom open quickly.The foliage on tinted and dyed roses are typically crummy, dyed weird colors, and usually need to be removed, so don't freak if the greenery looks shabby.
