The LW101 is our standard t-shirt with a binded collar and standard proportions. Milled from North Carolina cotton, the yarn is knit into a dry, midweight six-ounce tubular jersey that yields a crisp hand and breaks in after many washes. Oak gall is a tannin-rich substance that, when combined with iron, oxidizes in a dye bath, yielding nuanced and textured hues. This pre-industrial technique was important to the development of garment dyeing practices.
