The Chassis The YZ-EMX is built on the 2018+ Yamaha YZF Chassis which is a tried and true platform with the pedigree of Star Yamaha behind it. It is an incredibly light and nimble chassis that we all know and love that we have kept the feel and handling of by engineering our 5052 & 6061 ladder frame mounts to make sure to retain proper frame rigidity/flex without adding any additional weight. Due to some clever engineering, the E&C team was able to achieve a true riding weight of 242 lbs.! But most importantly keeping the weight distribution a spectacular 47% Front and 53% rear. This makes for the perfect ride feel and bike balance that allows for untouchable general performance but most specifically Enduro performance in the E-Moto World.
