The Flame Resistant Army Combat Uniform or FRACU, is a flame resistant version of the standard issue Army OCP uniform. These uniforms are approved for both the US Army and US Air Force to wear.
Fabric consists of. 65/25/10 Rayon/Para-Aramid (Nomex)/Nylon blend for fire resistance.
Single-breasted design with long sleeves and a spread collar. The front has two angled chest pockets with hook-and-loop closure flaps. It also has a zippered pocket on each sleeve that replaced the hook-and-loop closure flaps, and hook-and-loop attachment points for patches.
Above each chest pocket, there are loop fastener tape strips for attachment of name and branch tapes.
