The Ronin is a Japanese Samurai sword design, inspired from Star Wars Visions. It features a bold look, stunning finishes and a unique chokuto neopixel blade with a standard 1" cylindrical blade holder, compatible with our regular blades. The chokuto blade version contains a decorative chokuto neopixel blade that is not meant for dueling and is much more fragile. Only our standard neopixel blades are rated for dueling. We strongly recommend the chokuto blade for display/cosplay, and a spare neopixel blade for when you want to have fun with the saber. NOTES FOR DUELISTS : the fabric wrap on the hilt is cosmetic, strongly attached and glued, it may still wear off over time if used in dueling or sports settings. A frequently asked question around this saber is if the chokuto blade is compatible with other sabers: hardly so! The blade neopixel connector that inserts into the hilt has a length that is very specific to this lightsaber (~4.8cm), there are very little chances that it matches any other lightsaber. You may end up with the blade not touching the pogo pins on your other saber. Like all of our amazing sabers, this hilt is made of aluminium 6063. DIMENSIONS 📐 Dimensions of the hilt : 36 cm / 14.17 inches in length, weighs approx. 685 g / 1.51 lbs 📐 Dimensions of the blade : the chokuto blade is slightly under 72cm / 28" long, the standard blade  is our 1 inch diameter standard, then you choose between 72, 82, 92 cm (28, 32 or 36 inches) for the length. 📏 Recommended length of your lightsaber : a lot of academies and fencing federations request that the total length of your dueling saber stays between 100 and 110cm (39.4 to 43.4 inches). The blade usually sits inside the hilt for about 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3 inches). If you mean to use your saber in an official setting, be careful and choose the appropriate size, if you don't care for this, go for the longer blade length : 36 inches / 92 cm.   USABILITY CHART Key criterias for duelists is Handling and Weight, for cosplayers it is Style and ease of Maintenance, and for collectors it is mostly Style.   STYLE & REFINEMENT Little to no compromises made.
