Marisol Ortega Marisol Ortega is a first-generation Mexican American designer, illustrator, and letterer. Her grandmother has been an inspiration in her upbringing and work as one of the many strong women she knows in her life. Her hope with this artwork is to empower women, much like the pottery she often saw at her grandma's house, to be sturdy clay pots that hold whole, strong root systems and beautiful flowers.
