The lower bunk, equipped with a partially enclosed rail so that children as young as two can sleep there safely, features a back rail that allows it to double as a daybed. A suspended ladder, designed with round cut-outs for easy gripping, takes up minimal floor space and allows for an optional trundle bed to be stored underneath the bunks.
