<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>ADS-MRR vs. ADS-MRR2</strong></span></p>
<p>For starters, when you receive your Soundstream radio, your ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 will be pre-flashed/programmed for your specific bike and 100% ready to install in your bike. But, if you want to update your module or reprogram your module in the future, there's a distinct difference in how that's done depending on the module you choose:</p>
<p><strong>Flashing/Programming your Maestro module: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<strong>ADS-MRR</strong>: in order to flash or update your module in the future, you'll have to remove your fairing, disconnect your Maestro module from the harness and connect your Maestro module to a computer to download the newest update to your module. </li>
<li>
<strong>ADS-MRR2</strong>: you will be able to update your Maestro module via bluetooth by downloading and wirelessly connecting your phone to your module via the WebLink app, found in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This saves you the from having to remove your fairing to complete this process. </li>

<h3>ROAD GLIDE INSTALL</h3>

<p><strong>NOTE: the <a href="https://notecycles.com/collections/harley-davidson-accessories/products/idatalink-maestro-rr-interface-module-for-soundstream-hdhu-14si" title="idatalink module" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">idatalink control module</span></a> is required for powering on the unit and maintaining hand controls, factory data, etc.. If you do not already have an idatalink specific hand control module you will need the module in order for your new radio to power on and you'll also maintain factory hand controls and all items mentioned above. </strong></p>
<p><strong>WIRELESS ADAPTER:</strong> If you'd like wireless Apple CarPlay you can add the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><a href="https://notecycles.com/collections/harley-davidson-accessories/products/zzair-cp-wireless-carplay-adapter-for-soundstream-hdhu-14-2014-harley-davidson" data-mce-fragment="1" target="_blank" data-mce-href="https://notecycles.com/collections/harley-davidson-accessories/products/zzair-cp-wireless-carplay-adapter-for-soundstream-hdhu-14-2014-harley-davidson">ZZAIR-CP</a></strong></span> device with your kit which will enable you to connect wirelessly to your new Soundstream head unit when you start your bike. <p><strong>Aftermarket Performance Tuners:</strong> We've been informed that the HDHU.14si / Maestro module current firmware is not compatible with aftermarket tuners such as ThunderMax and Vance & Hines. Maestro is working on a fix at this time. No estimated completion date known, currently.</p>
<p><strong>The HDHU.14si is not compatible with CB or intercom functions, or wireless bluetooth headsets. </strong></p>

<p>The Soundstream HDHU.14si+ will work flawlessly with your factory speakers while also making them sound even better. The head units onboard 4-channel amplifier, 10-band equalizer and 4-volt RCA outputs for front/rear speakers and subwoofer allow you to dial in your desired sound output like never before. </p>
