Homalomena are native to the tropical regions of Asia and South America. These upright growers sport highly variegated and colorful spotted leaves. Don't be alarmed but Homalomena can be a bit dramatic when thirsty and will completely crumple until watered. This behavior is actually very helpful by letting everyone know when water is needed.
