In addition, the focusing control action has been modified with a smoother, perfectly damped long throw for precise follow focus when shooting video.The SERIES II 85mm F1.4 incorporates a nine element in seven group design with a Hybrid Aspherical element and UMC antireflective coatings to maximize image quality and contrast even at wide open apertures. Its fast F1.4 maximum aperture provides excellent low light performance and precise selective focus with smooth bokeh.Filter users will enjoy the IF (Internal Focus) design which prevents both changes in length and front element rotation. This enables easy use of polarizers and other filters that require precise positioning.
