Absolutely no UV degradation, compare to PVC. High weight load capacity - perfect for hanging submersible pumps in deep wells.</p>

<p><strong><span data-mce-fragment="1">Note on Varying Well Casing Sizes</span></strong></p>
<p><span data-mce-fragment="1">Depending on the material of lining used, varying pipe sizes and the age of the well our engineers have observed that all 6" wells sometimes do not all have the exact same measurements. This holds true for 4", 5" and 8" wells too. A 2-year-old 6" well in Indiana may not have the exact same measurements as a 6" 65-year-old well in Texas. Not to worry! The black gasket around the bottom of RPS stainless steel well seals will swell with exposure to water to help seal off slight inconsistencies in measurements. In rare cases, you can also add some foam tape around the gasket for a more exact fit on wells with "unique" measurements. And as long as the lip of the well seal is sitting over the well casing, you well pump will be safely supported. </span></p>
