It's somehow sweet, fresh, slightly smoky, and airy yet grounded at the same time. The sweetness here is in a light candy-ish way, almost like a hint of the type of sweetness in fragrance like Delina and Love Don't Be Shy (though Stairway to Heaven is unisex, and doesn't smell like them in general - just that style of sweetness).</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 13px; color: #000000; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; font-family: 'Arial'; font-style: normal; text-decoration-skip-ink: none;">The aldehydes here feel completely modern; not what you might think of as the typical over-the-top billowing cloud of old school aldehydes. Even if you normally don't like rose, the way it's done here is very well-blended, and it isn't a rose-dominant scent by any means. Despite there being plenty of musk present, we also think it's of the cleaner variety - not animalic musk. The cashmeran adds a refined soft woodsiness, and the gunpowder adds an intriguing underlying metallic smokiness.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 13px; color: #000000; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; font-family: 'Arial'; font-style: normal; text-decoration-skip-ink: none;">Overall a very creative scent that's interesting yet doesn't smell weird in an offputting way.
