Loading A Cartridge Into the Flat Mini The Flat Mini is compatible with 510 threaded cartridges and requires one to operate. In order to attach one, gently twist the cartridge clockwise into the Flat Mini until the two are flush. Using the Flat Mini Powering on your Flat Mini is easy, just press the power button 5 times in a row and when done correctly, watch as the device flashes its LED 5 times in white to indicate a successful input. To draw from the Flat Mini, inhale from the mouthpiece while gently holding down on the power button. This will activate your cartridge and provide you with vapor as long as you continue to hold the button down to a maximum of 15s. Adjusting Your Temperature The Flat Mini has 3 different voltage settings that each have a corresponding LED color. In order to swap between the options, press the power button 3 times in a row and watch as the next color flashes to let you know it's changed. The options are 2.6V in White, 3.2V in Green, and 3.8V in Red. Make use of these to accommodate different cartridges and experience different types of cloud vapor. Pre-Heating The Flat Mini For an extra boosted hit, the Flat Mini has a 10s preheat functionality that can be activated by pressing the power button 2 times in a row. When you do this correctly, the power button will glow in white for 10s to let you know that the preheating of your cartridge has begun. Once it ends, the light will shut off and you are ready to take a hit as you normally would but now with 10s of preheating behind it to really rock your socks off. How to Charge the Flat Mini When you first charge your Flat Mini, make sure to leave it connected for a full 2 hours. From then on, when you need to charge your device - only ever plug it in for a maximum of 1 hour - anytime over that can lead to the battery wearing down or even being ruined. To charge the Flat Mini, make use of a USB-C cable. While charging, the Flat Mini will glow red until it is full, at that point it will power off. Troubleshooting the Flat Mini The Flat Mini has been equipped with several warning features to keep you and all your session mates safe. These include the following: A low battery warning is triggered when your Flat Mini no longer has enough charge, this will be indicated by a red light that flashes 10 times in a row to let you know it’s time for a plug in. The short circuit warning means you should stop using your Flat Mini immediately, this is indicated by a red light flashing 5 times in a row. Cease using your Flat Mini until it subsides. Lastly, the open circuit warning is here to let you know when there are any issues with your cartridge connection. When this happens you will see 3 flashes of the white LED, this means you should re-examine your connection for error or potentially look into replacing your cartridge. How to Clean Your Flat Mini Before cleaning your Flat Mini, make sure that it is powered down and then remove your current cartridge for safety. For the body of the Flat Mini, we suggest using a damp cloth or wipe to make sure any dirt or build up is removed before it becomes an issue. For the cartridge connection, we recommend using a q-tip dampened with a slight amount of isopropyl alcohol and wiping down the threads with that. Afterwards, make sure to fully dry the connection and allow for all the moisture to clear.
