This pack has always been one of our favorites for short runs, triathlon, trail running, and now with the taller front pockets you can run soft flasks for a much longer range. 3.0 has an increased height on the front chest "outer" pocket so you can place larger stuff like phones, trash, nutrition and more. Plus it's velcro secure at the top. We've added a shock cord on the back left which is great for stowing a jacket or base layer. The front has rigid nylon straps, but on the side back adjustment is a heavy duty elasticated tensioner to allow freedom of movement. This pack is really light, very breathable, and with the simplicity of a bottle in the back, it's easy to refill on the fly!
The way to fit this pack properly is to cinch down the sides nice and snug while leaving the front chest straps loose. Once complete just find the sweet spot on the front per your liking. This tension from the side is very important as it controls the fit.
