How to Install For Best Results Tools: Heat Gun or Blow Dyer / Padded Glove or Felt Tip Squeegee Rinse / Soap your Fog Light accent to get rid of the debris before application, wait till dry. If you have JDM Yellow, Blue Smoke, Light Smoke or Dark Smoke - DRY INSTALL! If you have Pink Smoke, Purple Smoke, or Cherry Red- Recommended is DRY install, but if you are not confident then install wet. Dry install is recommended as this overlay does not have a wide surface area, installing Dry is easier and will stick faster while applying. Peel off the Fog Light Accent overlay first Note: if you mess up placement, peel off the overlay with ease. DO NOT heat up the overlay until the desired placement has been met. First, start from the pointed round edge that is pointing towards the middle of the front bumper. Align the overlay with that edge just at or slightly over, tack it down and guide the top of the overlay with the top of the fog light accent. The Top of the fog light overlay should sit right below the black housing and just at or slightly over the fog light accent lens. As you guide the overlay onto the fog light accent lens, make sure to push the air bubbles out by swiping to the closest edge while laying down the overlay by following the shape of the lens. You will need to lay the flat part down first (the surface that faces YOU). NOTE* there will be some hang overlay on the inner part of the fog light as the hang overlay will need to wrap into the fog light by folding on the crevice. Once the flat surface is laid, work on the inner part of the fog light that faces towards the middle of the bumper, the overlay will need to fold into the fog light accent that goes into the bumper. Heat the overlay with a heat gun or blow dryer to make the inner part of the fog light more malleable to lay and it should conform to the shape of the fog light lens. You will see the fog light overlay start shrinking or looking more flimsy. That point is when you stop heating it and start to lay the inner portion of the fog light. Use your finger to push the overlay onto the inner lens in one smooth motion or section at a time. Once aligned, the rest should fall into place - push out any bubbles to the closest edge. Once laid the rest of the overlay should fall into place. Lay the overlay and adjust until the desired placement is met. Please see the product photo for the exact placement of the side mirror turn signal overlay Once the placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADHESION If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles. ** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT** the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay which will enhance tackiness. NOTE: Light Smoke PET liner, must be peeled off after installation for a complete super gloss finish.
