This product is an overlay that covers and sticks onto the existing Amber on the Headlight and onto the Daytime Running Lights How to Install:For Best ResultsTools: Heat Gun or Blow Dyer / Padded Glove or Felt Tip Squeegee Rinse / Soap your headlight to get rid of debris before application. Dry your headlights to ensure that there is no dust/debris specs on the surface of the headlights, as these overlays are DRY INSTALL. You can do wet/soap install, however, it may take time for the overlay to dry to ensure tackiness. Start aligning the DRL overlay at the start of the DRL that points towards the MIDDLE of the bumper. Once aligned, tack down that edge and adjust the overlay to sit just below the turn signal at EYE-LEVEL, DO NOT COVER the Turn Signal. Next, keep laying the overlay till you get to the curve of the headlight, where it curves downward towards the bottom of the headlight. Once you reach that curvature, make sure to start laying the flat portion where the amber delete and the DRL are housed before moving up towards the top of the headlight. To lay it down properly, use a felt-tip squeegee or your fingers will work (but it may take some time to properly lay the overlay down, as your fingers do not have as much surface area compared to a squeegee). Use your free hand to guide the overlay and the other dominant hand to do the laying of the overlay. Slowly push the overlay by laying it in an upward and downward motion, all the while moving sideways till all the overlay on the flat portion is laid down (amber delete / drl tint). It needs to be a smooth motion if using a felt-tip squeegee. If you have any bubbles, make sure to push it towards the nearest edge. If you get any wrinkles, lift up the overlay to the wrinkle, add some small amount of heat till the wrinkle dissapears, wait for it to cool, then re-lay the overlay. Ensure the larger portion of the DRL (DRL/Amber portion of the overlay that sits near the fender) is at the edge of the headlight. The black outline ON the DRL should cover the clear curved portion of the headlight that sits just before the black outline ON the headlight (next to the fender) or 1 mm to 2mm before the edge. It should cover most of the clear curve on the top of the headlight. As featured in the 2 picture collage. The black curve that curves towards the bottom of the headlight should NOT go over the black outline that is already ON the headlight - but sit just at or slightly above the headlight's outline. Next, lay the top portion of the headlight that curves above the Amber. This will not cover to the top of the headlight, but will follow the curve that rounds up towards the top as it moves towards the rounded edge that points towards the fender. Once placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW FOR ADHESION. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion. If there are bubbles, make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge.  If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles. ** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT** the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay which will enhance tackiness.  There may be some glue residue due to the transfer tape. Spray a glue remover (goo gone) on a microfiber towel and wipe the overlays down until the residue from the transfer tape is gone.NOTE: You can install these overlays with water/soap mixture, however it may take time for the black portion of the overlay to dry. If you are more adept in installing overlays - dry install would be the best option.
