DO NOT heat up the overlay until desired placement has been met.The Emblem is made larger than the actual emblem to allow you to fold the emblem over the chromeOnce you align the emblem properly flatten out the flat surface and leave the sides hanging off the emblem.You want to make sure the emblem is sitting in the middle before you fold the rest of the emblems overlay around the edges.Lay the overlay and adjust until the desired placement is metOnce the placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADHESIONIf you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesionHeat up the edges till you see it looking a tad flimsy, you would want to start from the top of the emblem and work your way around the entire emblem.If it starts to fold on top of each other, peel it back open and heat up the edge, once it is at a semi-hot (NOT SCALDING HOT) temperature you can use your fingernail or a "slot tint tool" to help fold and curve the vinyl over the edges.If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edgeIf you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles.** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT** the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay which will enhance tackiness.
