An amazing oversize (18x10") capture of the-Governor or New York Franklin Delano Roosevelt campaigning for President in late 1932. Taken in a packed Eagles Club in Milwaukee, the large format of the print helps convey the magnitude of the moment: some the first steps taken by FDR in his effort to become one of the great American presidents.
From the archive of the Milwaukee Journal, it could potentially be one of, if not the, only print of this size of this occasion, and one of a small amount, relative to the amount printed of him after his ascension to the presidential office, of Roosevelt during this era of his career.
Print has been torn but very nicely repaired, presumably by the newspapers' archivists. It presents very well.
