Learn how to design and make your own crocheted tapestry! This creative technique can be used in so many pieces and projects. Check out our tapestry crochet Pinterest board for inspiration!
In this workshop, we'll be working from simple source images or drawing our own unique designs, then converting our images to charts using specialty software or hand-drawn techniques. Students will start by making a flat rectangular piece, but we will also be going over how to incorporate tapestry crochet into other shapes and garments.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCETo take this class you must already be comfortable with making a chain, and single crocheting. That's it! Having experience with other stitches and techniques is helpful but not required.WHAT YOU WILL LEARNThe tapestry crochet stitch, different techniques for crocheting with two or more colors, finishing techniques and different methods of hanging or framing crocheted tapestry pieces.
REQUIRED YARN - available for purchase at the shopAt least two colors in yarn of the same weight is required. The amount will vary based on what you want to make! Students are encouraged to arrive about 15 minutes early to get help selecting their yarn and hooks.
