It is perfect for both adult, kids and baby garments, as well as accessories.Non-superwash merino is great for outdoor-use and is the perfect yarn to use for kids! From Sandnes' own site: Merino wool is not only insulating, but also wicks moisture away from the body and retains heat even when moist, thanks to the structure of the fibers. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it starts to feel wet.- 230 meters per approximate 50 gram skein. The last cake from a skein can sometimes have more!- Gauge ranges from 23 - 28 sts depending on your gauge. It is a thin fingering weight yarn.Sunday is hand-dyed in Oslo, Norway. It is then wound into 50 gram cakes. Information on washing Sunday from Sandnes Garn: For machine washing, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Due to the unique absorbency of the merino wool, it is important to centrifuge hand-knitted garments well before drying them on a flat surface, preferably on top of a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.Some colour bleeding may occur for the first few washes, so beware. Always wash in cold water. Soap will cause more bleeding. NOTE ON HANDDYED YARNI try my very best to show the colours as true to what they're like in real life, but note colours vary from screen to screen, so your screen may show a colour differently than my screen.Unless listed in the "Ulykkesfugl" section, all my colourways are repeatable.
