If you're feeling lucky/lazy, just peel you avocado pit (seed), pop it in the vase opening, fill with water and wait! Otherwise here are our step-by-step instructions for best results: Soak your pit (seed) in water for 48h, then remove the outer skin. Wrap your pit in a moist paper towel. Place your wrapped pit inside a sealed plastic bag and keep it in a warm spot, (25°C is ideal). After a few days your pit will start to split. After a week or 2 the first root will emerge. Once the root is 2-3 cm long, you can take the pit out of the bag. Place the pit in the vase opening, with the root in the water. The water should touch the bottom of your pit. The first shoot takes another 1 to 2 weeks to emerge. Wait another 1 to 2 weeks for the first leaves.
