Tazer DT User Guide Tazer DT is an essential tool for owners of the new 2019 or newer Ram 1500 (New Body Style Only, including Ram TRX) Simple, plug-in installation – simply unplug the SGW module and plug the Tazer DT Mini in its place. It is easily accessible, located above the OBD2 Diagnostic connector. Tazer DT features can be broken into three categories: Vehicle Settings, accessed with the engine OFF and the ignition in the “RUN” position. These are changes made to the truck such as tire size, gear ratios or settings which accommodate other upgrades. These changes will continue to operate after the Tazer DT is unplugged. Live Functions are accessed with the engine ON. These are operations the Tazer DT performs live, only while it is physically connected. “Non-Menu” Live Functions are not located in a menu.
