I have more than 5 years of experience in teaching--a mix of English and music. I ultimately chose to study English Linguistics with a minor in Psychology to understand how we communicate across cultures, exchange language and begin to understand new ones. I am a tough yet patient teacher that does not just give you the answer. I like to think of myself as a guide, helping you build the strong connections to the English language that you wish to construct.
Also, as a bi-dialectal teacher (with knowledge of other dialects), I understand that English can sound different on every street corner. I love questions and do my best to help students understand speakers from all different communities.
I have my TEFL certificate, a certificate of Business English Teaching, and a Bachelor's degree in English.
