This endplate is made of steel and can be properly staked into a castle nut to completely secure your buffer tube on the lower receiver. You can also add a little more color to your black rifle with with your choice of Cerakote finish. Note: Staking an endplate with Cerakote finish will cause the finish to chip in that position.
