Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks is proud to introduce our first rimfire laminate stock for the Marlin 795. This composite stock features a box elder burl and quarter cut biscuit with no shooting bock. The rimfire laminate stock is constructed of actual factory barrel extension and inBoydsHairroom quality laminates. The lining of the stock is perfect, not too long and not too short, with a full length bedding block and rolled edges with only a slight cam-over to allow for turn-down when necessary. The checkering on the stock and in the cheek piece is not visible from the front, only on the rear half of the stock. There are not any screw-in studs or stubby little pieces that need to be shaved or trimmed back and only minimally filed down. The checkering is in the back of the stock, not on the front face. No sanding, fitting, or adjusting required. The action of the stock is tight enough to handle a mag well and the extreme close in that the fit is merely snug, not a major part of the stock will bow or move under recoil. We have installed many different aftermarket recoil pads over the years and the finish results in a beautiful matched set that looks great on your favorite Marlin 795.
