Featuring "true" patina indexes & hands, this dial was made through a combination of chemical aging & intensive UV light exposure. The result is a truly unique dial that looks like an original Dirty Dozen today; 80 years into its own lifetime. It serves to highlight the true age of the originals and, the wear & tear that they have gone through while being used in the field by actual armed forces.
Designed as a homage to the original Dirty Dozen designed for the British War Office to equip the British Army with a standardized high-performance field watch, the DD-45 surpasses the originals spec wise bringing it to the XXIst century. Originally meant to be "Waterproof" we've modernized the initial design requirements. The DD-45 comes with 10ATM water resistance & a screw-down crown - helping to keep things safe in wet conditions. The double domed sapphire crystal provides best in-class scratch resistance further improving the longevity of your DD-45.
