Use thumb and forefinger to rotate the clamp away from the face. When the curl is finished, it will slip out of the clamp.</li><li>For a wave or bend, hold the iron horizontally and wrap a section of hair over the clamp away from the face. Leave ends out 1". Hold for 3-5 seconds and release the clamp. Tug slightly on the ends while hair is still warm.</li></ul>
